NKOMO flyjumped leaving the stalls, dislodging Jockey Pheiffer. LADIES CLUB stumbled shortly after the start. GRAND JURY and ROSE OF CASTILLE lost one length. BANKING APRIL flyjumped leaving the stalls losing two lengths. Shortly after the start Jockey Pheiffer was dislodged from NKOMO, which flyjumped. Considering this filly's previous history, she was suspended and may not race until proves tractable jumping from the starting stalls on a raceday. FOR SHOW ME ANGEL was awkwardly placed shortly after the start between BLACK OPIUM and SPAN DIE SEILE. In view of the performance of SPAN DIE SEILE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Assistant Trainer Azzie was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this filly on return to stables. ALLEGORICAL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SPAN DIE SEILE - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed. Several Jockeys were selected for breathalyser tests and the taking of urine samples for analysis.
