LITTLE TOKOYO was stubborn loading. Trainer Nieuwenhuizen was advised to re-school this filly prior to her next engagement. UPOSEUPAY jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. PATRIC and UPOSEUPAY came together shortly after start and bumped. AUGUST DUKE proved difficult to settle in the early stages and thereafter raced wide around the bend. PATRIC was hanging in, in the concluding stages. LITTLE TOKOYO was hanging out in the concluding stages. Workrider Siphika was charged with a contravention, read with Guideline M on the use of the crop, in that he used his crop with excessive frequency whilst riding the horse LITTLE TOKOYO. Workrider Siphika signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in one Workrider race. Workrider Mazule was charged with a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse RED DRAGON, or at the higher weight confirmed in his engagement with the Trainer. Workrider Mazule signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in one Workrider race. Workrider Ndlovu was charged with a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse UPOSEUPAY, or at the higher weight confirmed in his engagement with the Trainer. Workrider Ndlovu signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in two Workrider races. When deciding on this penalty, the board took into consideration Workrider Ndlovu's poor previous record with regards to a contravention of Rule 55.4 and therefore suspended him from riding in two Workrider races. JOHNNIE FOR POPS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Alexander to be questioned regarding this geldings improved performance. STRIKING NIGHT raced without a tongue tie. VOODOO raced without cheek pieces.
