SIGN YOUR NAME reared in the stalls and was slow losing two lengths, thereafter was slow into stride. Trainer Ennion will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement. DE RAGATAS, which was restless in the stalls, was slow losing one length. EPONA was reluctant to load. Trainer Ramsden will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement. DE RAGATAS was hanging out in the straight. IRISH GREY (AUS) raced wide on the bend and was hanging out in the straight. EPONA shifted out slightly at about the 300m and made contact with the hind quarters of ROYAL FLEECE, who in turn made contact with ARCTIC QUEEN, which resulted in ROYAL FLEECE having to steady for a number of strides and ARCTIC QUEEN becoming unbalanced for a number of strides. Jockey Dillon appeared before the Board and was shown the patrol films and advised to take stronger measure to keep his mount on a straight course in future. EPONA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. DE RAGATAS raced fitted with alumites in front and unshod behind. The filly lost a hind shoe in transit to the racecourse and as the farrier was unable to replace the shoe, after consultation with the Veterinary Surgeon and the Trainer, permission was granted for her to race unshod behind. Vet: IRISH GREY (AUS) - returned with blood in her mouth.
