Workrider Mabaya (medically indisposed) did not ride at today's race meeting. He was replaced on his mount in Race 1. GAME PLAN was slow, losing 2 lengths. AYESSAYPEE was slow, losing 3 lengths. COUNT RED was difficult to settle in early stages. Thereafter Workrider Semela reported that this colt did not stride out freely in running and eased COUNT RED out the race at approximately the 800m. Assistant Trainer Titise was requested to report back on the condition of COUNT RED on return to the stables. JAMJOOM was difficult to settle in the early stages and thereafter was hanging in, in the straight. THUNDER APPLAUSE was difficult to settle in the early stages. DAHLIA'S ARROW was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Workrider Lukhele signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse AYESSAYPEE, or at the higher weight confirmed in his engagement with the Trainer. He was suspended from riding in one workriders' race. Vet: COUNT RED - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. GAME PLAN - in season.
