Jockey Maujean did not ride at today's race meeting due to being medically indisposed; he was replaced on his rides. PONT DU GARD was nervous in the stalls. FLIGHT CAPTAIN and GREEN LANTERN were slow into stride. OSWEGO was stubborn loading. In view of the Starter's report, OSWEGO is to be re-schooled in the starting stalls prior to racing again. LANCASTER shifted outwards shortly after the start, was straightened and continued outwards. Jockey Webber was brought before the Board, shown the patrol film of the race and advised to make more effort to keep his mount on a straight course in future. FLIGHT CAPTAIN raced green, shifted inwards slightly and carried GREEN LANTERN inwards, who brushed PONT DU GARD approaching the 300 metre mark. Thereafter FLIGHT CAPTAIN shifted outwards and made contact with ROCK DEEJAY passing the 250 metre mark. GREEN LANTERN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MADIBA DANCE raced with a tongue tie. LANCASTER raced with alumites in front, steel shoes behind. Vet: OSWEGO - mouth injury.
