FELICITY FLYER and NORDIC BREEZE were slow losing one length and thereafter were slow into stride. WHOSE THAT GIRL jumped outwards. Jockey Khathi's right foot momentarily slipped out of the stirrup iron on NORDIC BREEZE shortly after the start. Jockey Domeyer dropped his right side rein at about the 200m and thereafter switched in to continue his run, which resulted in a tiring NOT ON MY WATCH having to check. The Board will review the patrol films of this incident. WHOSE THAT GIRL became cramped for galloping room at about the 800m and was forced to ease off the heels of NOT ON MY WATCH, which shifted in. Jockey du Plooy, the rider of NOT ON MY WATCH, was charged with a contravention, in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to WHOSE THAT GIRL when he shifted in at the 800m. Jockey du Plooy signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. NORDIC BREEZE and STREAMING became baulked in the concluding stages when tightened for galloping room for a number of strides. CAPTAIN GAMBLER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
