WORDS OF WISDOM was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start. SEVEN WHISPERS was restless in the stalls, Trainer Ramsden will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before its next engagement. PERSIAN SILK became restless in the stalls and reared, which resulted in a handler holding the filly as the start was effected. Trainer Kotzen will be advised that this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. Jockey Herholdt reported that he felt something amiss with COSMIC CHARM in running. The Board reviewed the start with regard to PERSIAN SILK in stall gate 6, and after reviewing the relevant patrol films, the Board was of the opinion that the filly had been impeded by a handler when the filly reared shortly before the start was effected and therefore declared PERSIAN SILK to be a non runner. INDIGO STORM was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey du Plooy rode LIKE JANIS. This change was made in due time with Stewards' permission and with the mutual consent of all the connections. Vet: COSMIC CHARM - returned suffering from an epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa. SEVEN WHISPERS - returned coughing. Scratched: CHASING DREAMS - coughing. WORDS OF WISDOM - lame on the right fore and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start. PERSIAN SILK - declared a non runner.
