The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. TREVI FOUNTAIN, GROZNY and KALANI were slow losing one length. BAY OF ROCHELLE and GINGER SIOUX came together shortly after the start and bumped. SEVENTH HEIRESS was difficult to settle in the early and middle stages. FLYING PEG raced wide on the turn and into the straight. FELINA and MATHS MAJOR came together leaving the 400m and bumped when awkwardly placed between BAY OF ROCHELLE, which rolled out marginally, and GROZNY, which was hanging in from the 400m. Apprentice Ngcobo reported that GREEK MUSE took no interest in running. In view of the performance of TREVI FOUNTAIN, Trainer Von Willingh Smith and Jockey Simons were questioned regarding this filly's performance. Jockey Simons explained to the Board that TREVI FOUNTAIN was slow away and resented the kick back during the running. Trainer Von Willign Smit agreed with Jockey Simons' report to the Board. GROZNY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ATTRACT THE CROWD raced equipped with alumites. GREEK MUSE raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. GROZNY raced in Club Colours with the Stewards permission. Vet: GREEK MUSE - not striding out right front.
