SUCCESSFUL SECRET (J Greyling) was stubborn loading. ASH (S Brown) and ORPHELIN NOIR (D Schwarz) were slow into stride. GLOBAL TOWN (C Bantam) was stubborn loading and slow into stride. KWITE A TRIP(*L J Ferraris) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. Jockey P Mxoli reported that RACING MAN did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. KWITE A TRIP (*L J Ferraris) hung in from the 300m At approximately the 200m LION CRUISE (C Habib) was carried in marginally by SUCCESSFUL SECRET (J Greyling) which rolled in, thereafter Jockey C Habib (LION CRUISE) accidentally dropped his crop at the 150m. KWITE A TRIP(*L J Ferraris), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P A Peter advised (DR). STATE PROPERTY raced equipped with blinkers and alumites in front and unshod behind (declared 17 August 2020 07H20). LION CRUISE raced with a tongue tie on (declared 16 August 2020 at 19H46). MARRAKECH raced equipped with blinkers (declared 15 August 2020 at 12H46). ASH is a grey gelding and not a bay as carded. VET: RACING MAN examined post race, nothing obvious detected. SCRATCHED: PROCRASTINATOR coughing (Trainer) (Rule 53.5 applies).
