RIVER RUN and CHALCEDONY lost one length. LADY TORERA reared in the stalls, injuring itself. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. She was suspended for a period of thirty days in terms until repassed tractable on a raceday with a companion. NAVETTE and MATILDA'S DAUGHTER came together shortly after the start and bumped. NAVETTE and BANKING APRIL over-raced in the early stages. Jockey Lerena reported that CAT'S WHISKERS made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. Jockey Strydom reported that RIVER RUN took no interest in running. COMMODORE AL was selected for the taking of specimen for analysis. Vet: CAT'S WHISKERS - scalped right hind and no respiratory noise detected post race. NAVETTE - not striding out left hind. RIVER RUN - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. Scratched: CASEY'S JET - no suitable rider available. Jockey Zechner was charged with a contravention in that he failed to inform the Stipendiary Board immediately he became aware that he was unable to fulfil his riding engagement on the horse CASEY'S JET. Jockey Zechner signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. Trainer Adamson will be issued with an Admission of Guilt for a contravention of in that she declared Jockey Zechner to ride the horse CASEY'S JET without having obtained his prior consent. . ARTEMISIA - no suitable rider available. LADY TORERA - injured in stalls and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
