Apprentice P Mxoli reported that he felt something amiss with SILVER MASTER in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. In view of the performance of BLOW ME DOWN (S Khumalo), (distance 13.75 lengths, betting 7/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Jockey P Strydom reported that WRITTEN IN STONE (4.50 lengths) changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. At approximately the 200m GRINDELWALD (S Brown) which had come to end of his run had to steady momentarily between CATEGORY FOUR (C Habib) and ELUSIVE JACK (J Greyling) which was hanging in from the 300m.
