ESPERANZA FIRE lost three lengths. THALER POINT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the Starter's report concerning ESPERANZA FIRE, this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn until recertified tractable to jump on terms with a companion. JUST RAP shifted in at approximately the 200-metre mark, simultaneously LADY LINDA shifted out, which resulted in ESPERANZA FIRE becoming cramped for galloping room and having to be eased and switched out. THALER POINT, hanging out, shifted outwards at approximately the 150-metre mark, resulting in SEATTLE BELLE having to be steadied off the heels of THALER POINT at approximately the 100 metre mark. Jockey Daniels signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention, in that as the rider of THALER POINT, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the horse SEATTLE BELLE at approximately the 100-metre mark. He was suspended for a period of 7 days. SEATTLE BELLE shifted out away from the crop brushing JUST RAP shortly before the finish. TIDE IS TURNING compounded in the latter stages. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. In view of the performances of LADY LINDA and ROYAL TREE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. MISSION RAPIDS raced with cheek pieces. Vet: LADY LINDA - not striding out behind. ROYAL TREE - nothing obvious detected. JUST RAP - coughing. TIDE IS TURNING - blowing.
