ROY'S LIONESS, ZILLA and ETHYLENE lost one length. NINA KATRINA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the performance of SILKEN, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Jockey Randolph, the rider of ROY'S LIONESS, and Apprentice Godden, the rider of UPPER ECHELON, reported their respective mounts took no interest running. MAYBE over-raced in the early stages and was hanging in, in the straight. Vet: SILKEN and ROY'S LIONESS - not striding out right fore. UPPER ECHELON - nothing obvious detected.
