PURPLE ROCK reared in the stalls, leg was caught up and was subsequently withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. Trainer Hodgson will be advised that this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. THE GREAT VICTORY, which reared in the stalls, was taken out, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded, jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. Trainer Marshall will be advised that this colt's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. MARVAN jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. Work Rider Jevu was charged with a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse RULE ONE, which resulted in a change of rider. Work Rider Jevu signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in one work rider's race. HEELAGAINSTTHEHEAD was carried in by ON THE RIGHT PATH at the 450m. HERACLES steadied off the heels of THE GREAT VICTORY, which rolled out at the 100m. THE GREAT VICTORY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MARVAN raced fitted with a tongue tie. Vet: MARVAN - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: THATCATCANRUN - coughing. COSTLY AFFAIR - no suitable work rider. PURPLE ROCK - reared in stalls, was hung up and was withdrawn by Veterinary Surgeon.
