SPEED LIGHTNING was slow into stride. ONE COOL CAT was hanging out leaving the 300m. When questioned regarding his riding of SPEED LIGHTNING, Jockey Wrogemann explained to the board that this gelding resented the kick back, which weakened him and thereafter he did not persevere with his riding in the closing stages. Jockey Wrogemann was reminded of his obligation to report anything which might have any bearing on the past or future running of this gelding. Jockey Penny reported that he felt something amiss with EASY TO PLEASE in running and did not persevere with his riding in the concluding stages.
