LE HARVE jumped awkwardly losing one length. NEVADA, which was restless in the stalls, was slow into stride. In view of the performances from ARCTIC BLAST and NEVADA, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings on their return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. ELEVATED shifted in away from the crop from the 200m and carried LE HARVE inwards in the latter stages. Trainer Snaith called for a race review and after reviewing the patrol films took no further action. Jockey du Plooy, the rider of ELEVATED, appeared before the Board and was reminded of his obligation to keep his mount on a straight course. CAPTAIN COURTEOUS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ARCTIC BLAST - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. NEVADA - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise.
