The start of this Race was delayed due to the previous Race delay. ACCIDENTAL TOURIST was slow into stride. VINE STREET STAR lost one length. SEATOPS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The saddle on ACCIDENTAL TOURIST slipped sideways in the latter stages. ANIME, hanging out, shifted out approaching the 100-metre mark, resulting in VINE STREET STAR having to be checked off the heels of ANIME. An Inquiry will be held into this incident. In view of the performance of ROYAL ROSE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Vet: ROYAL ROSE - nothing obvious detected.
