CAMPS DRIFT was slow into stride. The Board reviewed the start regarding EXPLORACY in stall gate number 7, and after reviewing the patrol films from various angles, the Board decided that EXPLORACY had been impeded by the handler allocated to it and therefore declared this gelding to be a non-runner. ASTRO had to steady when awkwardly placed between WOTTAHOTTIE and WATABOUT, which shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. Jockey Zechner, the rider of WATABOUT, appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol films of the race and advised to take more care when shifting ground in future. WATABOUT cast its right front shoe in running. Jockey Chambers, the rider of MASTER BOULDER, and Jockey Zechner, the rider of WATABOUT, reported that they felt something amiss with their respective mounts in running. GOLD STATUS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: MASTER BOULDER - blowing heavily post race. WATABOUT - not striding out left front. BLAZING BRAVE - blowing heavily post race. Scratched: RONIN WARRIOR - Urticaria. KOSTYA ZU - cast in box. EXPLORACY - declared a non-runner.
