GIMMETHEMONEY and MISS NIGHTINGALE were stubborn loading. RASBERRY LIPS was slow into stride. CHAMPION ALAMI reared in the pens. Trainer Maroun was advised to re-school this mare prior to its next engagement. In view of the performance from GIMMETHEMONEY, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer Peter was requested to report back on the condition of GIMMETHEMONEY on return to the stables. Jockey Chambers reported that he felt something amiss with PINOT VAR in running and he did not persevere with his ride from the 100m. LINDA HONEY was hanging in from the 400m to the 200m. Thereafter LINDA HONEY shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. LAKAHAL and ANGIE BEE were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: GIMMETHEMONEY - examined post race, no significant findings. PINOT VAR - not striding out right front. Scratched: RHYTHM IN RED - no transport.
