FEATHERFOOT proved restless in the starting stalls, which resulted in the front gate of SISTERS OF MERCY opening early and FORT EMBER subsequently bumping open the front gate, being restrained by the rider, returned to the start, inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. Trainer Little was advised to re-school FEATHERFOOT prior to its next engagement. JUST A REMINDER stood and lost many lengths. The starting stalls certificate for this filly has been withdrawn and it was suspended for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable. FEATHERFOOT compounded badly in the concluding stages. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. FORT EMBER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. FEATHERFOOT raced equipped with Luwex pad wedges in front only, alumites behind; and raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: FEATHERFOOT - abrasions on head from pens. SISTERS OF MERCY - abnormal respiratory noise. CAMBRIDGE CHOIR - not striding out right front.
