The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GLOBAL MOVEMENT, I AM CLASSY and TWOCANTANGO lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) IRISH ANTHEM over-raced in the early stages. c) GLOBAL MOVEMENT raced in restricted room between the inside running rail and I AM CLASSY, between the 1200m and the 900m. d) At the 900m, I AM CLASSY, was taken back for a stride and directed outwards in anticipation of being awkwardly placed on the heels of ULTRA QUICK, which rolled in. e) Apprentice G Dookhit (ULTRA QUICK) rode his 20th winner and will now claim a 2.5kg Apprentice allowance from the conclusion of today's race meeting. f) ULTRA QUICK, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
