The start of this Race was delayed due to the previous race delay. CRACKPOT and PEACE AGAIN were slow into stride. PEARL EMBLEM was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. FLY PEG FLY was continuously baulked between the 300 and 200-metre marks. In view of the performance of BROWN SUGAR, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. SCHOOL RUN was not persevered with over the final 250 metres. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. Vet: BROWN SUGAR and SCHOOL RUN - nothing obvious detected.
