DRAGON'S DEN was slow losing one length. DODGY DUTCHIE flyjumped out the stalls. MIESQUE'S SPEED took an awkward stride after making contact with CALIBRE shortly after start. MIESQUE'S SPEED cast its right front shoe in running. Jockey Yeni reported that GIVEUWINGS raced with its tongue over the bit. In view of the performance of CHESTNUT, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Trainer Lensley was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this gelding on return to stables. Jockey Pheiffer reported that CALIBRE did not stride out freely in running. Apprentice Murray reported that MIESQUE'S SPEED did not stride out freely in running and did not persevere with his riding from the 400m. Jockey Munger reported that he felt something amiss with RISK ALL in running and did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. TERRA INCOGNITA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SACRED FORT and VICTORIOUS ROCHELE raced with a tongue tie. VICTORIOUS ROCHELE raced in Club colours with the Stewards permission. Vet: CALIBRE - lame right front. CHESTNUT - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. MIESQUE'S SPEED - coughing and overreach right front. RISK ALL - not striding out right front.
