SPOOK EXPRESS was slow into stride. FOR EVER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SPOOK EXPRESS was pulling hard in the early stages, difficult to restrain. Apprentice Moodley reported that CAVALLO NERO took no interest in running. MR O'NEILL was hanging in over the final 400 metres. GESTE returned post race having cast the left fore shoe and spread the right fore shoe. Vet: CAVALLO NERO - nothing obvious detected. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
