THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STRATPLAN DORA (*N Klink) stood losing many lengths. The Starting Stall Certificate for this mare has been withdrawn. b) STARRY MESSENGER (*C F Dicken) and ERNESTIKA (M Thackeray) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to STRATPLAN DORA, this mare has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 26 August 2020 to 1 September 2020. STRATPLAN DORA may not be presented for repassing during this period. Assistant Trainer C Bowles advised (PHvdW). b) At approximately the 400m, WINNING QUEEN (D Schwarz) had to steady when carried out by NABEELA (C Zackey) which hung out badly from the 400m proving difficult to assist. c) NABEELA (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S J Gray advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) VENUS FLYTRAP was ridden by Jockey C Maujean who weighed out at 53kg, 1kg over the carded weight as declared on 25 August 2020 at 08H21. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) VENUS FLYTRAP raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind (declared 19 August 2020 at 15H06). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) TEQUILA abnormal respiratory noise. b) WATCHING CLOSELY in season.
