OVER STATED was very stubborn loading. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. She was suspended for a period of seven days in terms until recertified tractable on a raceday. DUKES DIME lost one length. As the start was effected, the left side stirrup leather of IMPERIAL PARTY became detached from the saddle when the horse jumped out of the Monte Roberts blanket, placing Jockey Wright at a severe disadvantage for the remainder of the race. In the concluding stages, LADIES CLUB was bumped by MIGHT AS WELL, which rolled out marginally. A race review was called by a member of the Stipendiary Board to review this incident from the various angles and decided that this incident had not affected the result of the race and therefore no further action was taken. At approximately the 200m GOLD SHADES was baulked for a number of strides and as a consequence of this lost momentum. Jockey Maujean reported ENDEARING did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Lerena reported that he felt something amiss with WARM NIGHT ALICE in running. MIGHT AS WELL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ENDEARING - lame left front. WARM NIGHT ALICE - not striding out left hind. PEARL VALLEY - coughing.
