SILVER CAPTAIN jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. REINE TONNERRE raced in Club colours. Approaching the 200m PARTY CRASHER shifted outwards into a tight run between REINE TONNERRE and SILVER CAPTAIN, which resulted in SILVER CAPTAIN shifting out slightly and made contact with CHINA PEARL. CHINA PEARL and SILVER CAPTAIN became severely tightened for galloping room, which resulted in SILVER CAPTAIN bumping the hindquarters of PARTY CRASHER, which was turned outwards. SILVER CAPTAIN becoming severely cramped and had to ease, and CHINA PEARL was carried outwards and forced to ease off the heels of FELICITY FLYER. ANNELINE, which was following, was forced to switch inwards to avoid the heels of SILVER CAPTAIN. Jockey Cheyne, the rider of PARTY CRASHER, was charged with a contravention, in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to other runners when he shifted at about the 200m. FELICITY FLYER and GIMME SIX were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
