TRIP TEASE was stubborn loading. MANX PARK stumbled at the start. KINGOFTHEWORLD was slow losing one length. RAFA was slow into stride. Jockey Strydom reported that MANX PARK made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. Apprentice Schwarz reported that JADE BAY was blowing heavily post race. In the concluding stages, PERFUMED LADY was bumped by GREASEPAINT, which was hanging in from the 200m and was immediately straightened. Jockey Lerena, the rider of GREASEPAINT, appeared before the Board and he was advised to be more aware of other horses' positions in races when shifting ground and also to take the necessary corrective measures to straighten his horses timeously. BRITISH ROYALE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: KINGOFTHEWORLD - abnormal respiratory noise. MANX PARK - blowing heavily post race. JADE BAY - no respiratory noise detected post race.
