BISCAY BABY, DAZZLING TOKEN and REMEMBERING RUTH were slow into stride. FEATURE BID and FLOWEROFEDINBURGH lost 1 length. LIL GAMBLER was difficult to load. Trainer Wright was advised to re-school this filly. SPRING IN SEATTLE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Gordon was questioned regarding the improved performance of SPRING IN SEATTLE compared to this filly's previous on the 04.09.2016. He explained that in this filly's debut run she had been slow away and had not been in the race and had faded in the latter stages and that he was disappointed with the run. Today he had instructed Apprentice Ngwane to ensure that this filly jumped well and to get to a handy position and this, in his opinion, had accounted for the improvement. The Board have adjourned to review this filly's previous race. Due to the performance of FLOWEROFEDINBURGH, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Vet: FLOWEROFEDINBURGH - nothing obvious detected. REMEMBERING RUTH - speedy cut left hind. TROPICAL BLOW - blowing.
