BON BON was fractious prior to loading, broke through the front gate while being loaded, was immediately restrained, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and was reloaded. Trainer Kotzen will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement. MOONSABALLOON pulled hard in the early stages. DAWN RISING raced wide around the bend, was hanging in and shifted in, in the latter stages. BON BON was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: BIG BANG THEORY - returned with a mouth injury. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys and Apprentice were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
