NIGHT LOCK and BEZ-ART lost one length. JAMA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. DELIRIOUS NOMAD was steadied off the heels of TANJIRO at approximately the 250-metre mark and thereafter was switched in to obtain a clear run. JAMA shifted out slightly approaching the 100-metre mark, brushing TANJIRO. An objection was lodged by Jockey Delpech on behalf of the second placed horse, TANJIRO, against the winner, JAMA, on the grounds of interference in the latter stages. After considering the evidence and viewing the patrol video, the Board was of the opinion that TANJIRO would not have beaten JAMA. Therefore the Board over-ruled the Objection, allowed the Judge's result to stand and the deposit was refunded. PRICELESS GEM raced with a tongue tie. DUKES DRIFT raced with steel shoes in front and unshod behind. Scratched: THIRTYTWO SQUADRON - Urticaria. BORN TO RULE - swollen right fore joint. IN THE MOMENT - foot sore right hind. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed. Several Jockeys and Apprentices were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
