RED JOHN was stubborn loading. Trainer Matchett to be advised to re-school this gelding prior to its next engagement. QUEEN ANNE was stubborn loading. Trainer Peter was advised to re-school this filly prior to its next engagement. WINTER EMBLEM lost 1 length. Shortly after the start, BATTLE SERMON was awkwardly placed between PAYNE'S GREY and KINGS LANDING. WINTER EMBLEM and QUEEN ANNE came together shortly after the start and bumped. RED JOHN shifted in away from the crop from the 400m. WINTER EMBLEM shifted both ways away from the crop from the 300m. Leaving the 400m QUEEN ANNE was carried in by BRAVE NATION, which was hanging in. WOODLAND SAGE was hanging out in the concluding stages. SILVA TOUCH shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. Workrider Jonase signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention, read with Guideline G on the use of the crop, in that he struck the horse SILVA TOUCH unnecessarily when it was out of contention for a place. He was suspended from riding in one workriders' race. URBAN MYTH shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. JUST AS FRISKY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SILVA TOUCH raced equipped with alumite shoes in front, unshod behind. Scratched: PEACE PIPE - coughing. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
