PRIMROSE LANE, which reared in the stalls, jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. Trainer Hodgson will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement. VARUMBA, which was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. Jockey Peters was charged with a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse MAKE IT RAINE, which resulted in a change of rider. Jockey Peters signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. In view of the performance from SAILS SET, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. JO'S BOND was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey van der Hoven rode MAKE IT RAINE (AUS) as Jockey Peters was unable to make the carded weight. Vet: SAILS SET - inspected post race and no significant findings were detected. MAKE IT RAINE (AUS) - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise.
