Jockey Delpech did not ride at today's race meeting with Stipes permission. Jockey Delpech contacted the Stipendiary Board and advised that three of his mounts had been withdrawn leaving him with one ride. After consultation with the affected parties, permission was granted to Jockey Delpech not to travel from KwaZulu-Natal for his remaining ride. He was replaced on his mount in Race 6. PRINCESS ROCHELLE flyjumped leaving the stalls and lost 2 lengths. LA ROQUETTE lost 1 length. The Stipendiary Board called a race review into the start regarding PRINCESS ROCHELLE in stall gate 11 and established that this filly had flyjumped after the start had been effected and that she had not been impeded by a handler and therefore took no further action. PRINCESS ROCHELLE was hanging in from the 200m and thereafter shifted out sharply before the finish line. SEE ARE SEVEN raced green. Jockey Lerena reported that CLAREMORRIS took no interest in running and did not persevere with his ride from the 200m. LA ROQUETTE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Apprentice Hewitson replaced Apprentice Thackeray on LISTENNA ME LINDA. Prior to the running of this race Apprentice Thackeray was stood down by the Course Medical Officer suffering from flu. Vet: CLAREMORRIS - not striding out left hind. CASA DE VAR - coughing. LISTENNA ME LINDA - mild post race distress. Scratched: CLARET CUP - shin sore. FREE THE WIND - coughing. BRIEF MOMENT - not striding out.
