OCEANS TRIP was fractious and reared in the stalls, the colt was removed from the stall, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race, and was reloaded, causing a delay. Trainer Snaith will be advised that this colt's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. MIGHTY HASH was fractious in the stalls. Trainer Ennion will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled before its next engagement. VARSITY CUP was restless in the stalls. Trainer Crawford will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled before its next engagement. LEDBURY was restless in the stalls. HEREFORD jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the performance from OCEANS TRIP, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the colt on its return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. HEREFORD was held up for a clear run between the 300m and 100m. CAPTAIN'S VERSION lost his position when forced to check off the heels of LEDBURY, which shifted inwards approaching the 400m. Apprentice May was charged with a contravention in that he, as the rider of LEDBURY, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to CAPTAIN'S VERSION when he shifted inwards approaching the 400m. Apprentice May signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. STARFLASH was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The Ownership of HEREFORD should read: Mr G W Ennion; and the Colours are unchanged. Vet: OCEANS TRIP - returned with a mouth injury and was making an abnormal respiratory noise.
