Jockey Samuel did not ride at today's meeting (Medically indisposed - injured at track work). Jockey Habib did not ride at today's meeting (Flight complications). Apprentice Godden now claims a 1.5kg apprentice allowance. The start of this Race was delayed due to the late arrival of ARIES at the start. ROY'S JEWEL was slow into stride. ARCTIC MAGIC and ON GOLDEN WINGS lost one length. LIL GAMBLER was difficult to load. MISSIBABA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Apprentice Arries, the rider of ROY'S JEWEL, had a satisfactory qualifying ride. LIL GAMBLER jumped out as the start was effected, carrying ROY'S JEWEL outwards, resulting in ROY'S JEWEL making contact with ARCTIC MAGIC, who became unbalanced and lost position on the inside of SHE'S A JO, who shifted in. ON GOLDEN WINGS raced wide in the early stages. ARIES over-raced in the early stages. ON GOLDEN WINGS raced green. In view of the performance of BACK IN TOWN, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. In view of the Starter's report concerning LIL GAMBLER, this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn until re-passed tractable with a companion on a race day. ON GOLDEN WINGS raced in Club Colours. Assistant Trainer Gila, acting for Trainer Kotzen, appeared before the Board and was advised that should ARIES prove to be difficult when proceeding to the start in future, this filly may be suspended. ROY'S JEWEL raced with cheek pieces on. ON GOLDEN WINGS raced with Club colours. Vet: BACK IN TOWN - nothing obvious detected. DUNDRUM - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: ZIGZAGONAL - cast in box.
