THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The saddle on DIPLADENIA slipped back in running, resulting in Jockey Mbhele having difficulty straightening this filly, which was hanging out in the concluding stages. b) Jockey J Bekker, the rider of MONEY MONEY MONEY, reported that this filly did not act in the soft underfoot conditions. c) Jockey G Cheyne, the rider of QAARAAT, reported that he felt something amiss with this filly and he did not persevere with his riding in the latter stages. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine. d) DIPLADENIA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Snaith was advised.
