ROY'S EMBLEM and KINGS LADY were slow into stride. NOT A WORD lost two lengths. ZILLA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SEATTLE BELLE over-raced in the early stages and was hanging out over the final 400 metres. Jockey Jacobson reported that LE CHAT D'AMOUR was not striding out freely in running. Jockey Forbes reported that he felt something amiss with MAYBE in the latter stages. NOT A WORD raced with alumites in front and steel shoes behind. Vet: LE CHAT D'AMOUR - not striding out left hind. MAYBE - nothing obvious detected. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at tonight's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at tonight's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed. Several Jockeys and Apprentices were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
