THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ENTENTE (D Schwarz) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ENTENTE (D Schwarz) over-raced in the early stages. b) Leaving the 300m, GEE FOR GO (M Yeni) which hung out and SOUTHERN CHARM (C Murray) which rolled in, came together and brushed. Thereafter SOUTHERN CHARM was carried out marginally by GEE FOR GO which continued to hang out. c) Jockey C Murray reported that SOUTHERN CHARM hit its head in the stalls. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In the pull up area, Jockey C Maujean was dislodged from WINE TASTING. He was attended to by the course paramedics which precluded him from weighing in. In terms of Rule 66.2, Jockey Maujean's weight was deemed to be correct. e) GEE FOR GO (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P F Matchett advised (LN).
