JUDS EXPRESS lost one length. BALALAIKA jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. Shortly after the start SIM-ALLEY BANK and BALALAIKA came together and bumped. Jockey Munger, the rider of POLAR SECRET, and Jockey Zackey, the rider of PEARL VALLEY, reported that they felt something amiss with their mounts in running. Leaving the 1200m MY FRIEND LEE, which was difficult to settle, was awkwardly placed between A P'S LILY and COSTA DA SOL. KAHLUA ROSE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. WENDISH raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. PEARL VALLEY raced equipped with alumites. Vet: POLAR SECRET - not striding out right front. PEARL VALLEY - examined post race, no significant findings. MY FRIEND LEE - mouth injury. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed. Several Jockeys and Apprentices were selected for breathalyser tests and the taking of urine samples for analysis.
