The start of this race was delayed due to DEVIL IN COMMAND breaking through the front of the starting stalls. This horse was pulled up and taken back to the start and passed fit to race. A false start was called as DEVIL IN COMMAND rushed the front starting stall which opened more quickly than the rest. All horses were pulled up and the starting stalls were checked and the field was then re-loaded. Due to DEVIL IN COMMAND breaking through the front of the starting stalls and also being a cause of a false start, this gelding's Starting Stalls Certificate has been withdrawn and is to be recertified tractable prior to being nominated to race again. DEVIL IN COMMAND was over-racing in the early stages of the race. JAMESON RUN raced green in the first 400 metres and as a result did not take the turn, causing Jockey Marwing to ease this horse in order to re-balance and take the turn. WYLDE STYLE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Scratched: SHEPPARTON - card scratching.
