The start of this Race was delayed due to the 30-minute interval and the withdrawal of SILVER JAY, was injured in the stalls. SNOW PATH was restless in the stalls. Trainer Wiid was advised to re-school this filly prior to its next engagement. ANTAKYA jumped inwards leaving the stalls. Apprentice Murray reported that he felt something amiss with ANTAKYA in running. COMTESSA ANTONIA and CATWALK came together and bumped on two occasions in the early stages. At approximately the 200m COMTESSA ANTONIA and TANDANA (AUS) came together and bumped. SECRET VISION was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TANDANA (AUS) raced without a tongue tie. Vet: ANTAKYA - wound left hind stifle. CATWALK - blowing heavily post race. Scratched: SILVER JAY - injured in pens. MEXICAN WAVE - insufficient recovery time. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, except for LOLITA DELAGO, which was identified by means of its microchip number.
