BOLD MAN and NORTHERN STRIKE were restless in the stalls. YOURS AND MINE and NORTHERN STRIKE were slow losing one length. NORTHERN STRIKE was difficult to settle in the early stages and thereafter Jockey Pheiffer reported that NORTHERN STRIKE did not stride out freely in running and did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. TALK IT OVER failed to negotiate the first turn and thereafter raced wide into the back-straight. BOLD MAN and YOURS AND MINE were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
