FORD COUNTRY and KINGOFMOUNTAIN were slow into stride. Jockey Gould reported that he felt something amiss with FORD COUNTRY in running. Jockey Marwing reported that RAZZLE MY TAZZLE took no interest in running and he did not persevere with his ride from the 200m. Trainer Borman was requested to report back on the condition of RAZZLE MY TAZZLE on return to the stables. Apprentice Burke reported that he felt something amiss with LA TOURELLE in running and he did not persevere with his ride in the concluding stages. In view of the performance from JAYAASH (AUS), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. When questioned regarding his ride on JAYAASH (AUS), Jockey Pheiffer explained to the Board that this gelding had come under pressure a long way out and had to be hard ridden to maintain its position and thereafter turning for home had tired. STONE PINE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Nyawo signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse SON OF APPROVAL, or at the higher weight confirmed in his engagement with the Trainer. Vet: FORD COUNTRY - not striding out left front. LA TOURELLE - not striding out right front. PREMIER CHANCE - coughing. JAYAASH (AUS) - abnormal respiratory noise; not striding out left front.
