The start of this Race was delayed due to technical issues with the live feed in the Stipendiary Boardroom. The loading process had begun and all horses were taken out the starting stalls until the technical issues had been resolved and the loading process was resumed. INN A MILLION was restless in the stalls. MIESQUE'S RUMBA and KING'S VALOUR were slow into stride. In view of the performance from INN A MILLION, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. At approximately the 1600m DAMASCUS STEEL had to steady when awkwardly placed on the inside of MIDNIGHT MEMORIES. ARTIFICIO was hanging in from the 500m. BROOKIE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. RIPARIAN was ridden by Workrider Moagi. An Admission of Guilt was issued to Workrider Ndlovu for a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse RIPARIAN, or at the higher weight confirmed in his engagement with the trainer. Workrider Siphika replaced Workrider Semela on DAMASCUS STEEL. Workrider Semela signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse DAMASCUS STEEL, or at the higher weight confirmed in his engagement with the trainer.
