OFF THE BIT was slow away and lost 1 length. MINNAROOM steadied off the heels of BLIZZARD KING shortly after the start. BLIZZARD KING was pulling in the early stages and compounded passing the 200-metre mark. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. CAPTAIN DISKO over-raced in the early stages. CAPTAIN'S VISTA was hanging inwards over the final 200 metres. OFF THE BIT and EN GEE OH were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer McLachlan signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that he declared Jockey Khathi to ride the horse FAMILIAR CHAT without having obtained his prior consent. Vet: BLIZZARD KING - checked post race, nothing obvious detected. FAMILIAR CHAT - short in front.
