LIZZIE'S CHAPEL, DAZZLING TOKEN and MODESTY were all slow into stride. BURFI was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly and lost 1 length. BLUE BERRY PIE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Due to the performances of FLORRICK and BURFI, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. Jockey Marcus reported that he felt something amiss with DIAMANTE in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer Dixon was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly post race. VEGAS LIGHTS over-raced in the early and middle stages and thereafter compounded over the final 300 metres. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Vet: FLORRICK, DIAMANTE and VEGAS LIGHTS - nothing obvious detected. BURFI - not striding out right hind. OYSTER POND - fatigued and blowing. Scratched: KUTLWANOSLOVE - insufficient recovery time (raced 30.12.2016). TROPICAL WONDER - bruised right fore sole.
