RONIN WARRIOR was slow into stride. PLUM BRITISH refused to load. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. In view of the Starter's report, PLUM BRITISH has been suspended for a period of thirty days and until such time as he proves tractable loading into the starting stalls. Jockey Thabana reported that MIA CULPA changed stride continually in running. RONIN WARRIOR shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. In the concluding stages, WOTTAHOTTIE had to shift out marginally to continue its run on the outside of DRAGOON which shifted out away from the crop. The rider of the 5th placed horse, WOTTAHOTTIE, lodged an objection against the 4th placed horse, DRAGOON, on the grounds of interference in the concluding stages. The Objection Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward by the connections of both horses and viewing the patrol films of the incident, was of the opinion that WOTTAHOTTIE would not have finished in front of DRAGOON had this incident not occured and therefore allowed the Judges result to stand. The objection deposit was refunded. NEWS FLASH was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: TRIPP FORCE - abnormal respiratory noise. MIA CULPA - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. HEYWOT - speedy cut right front. Scratched: LADY ON FIRE and PIED PIPERESS - insufficient recovery time. SUPANOVA - not striding out right front. PLUM BRITISH - refused to load. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
