CUBAN EMERALD and MUTZI were slow losing one length and thereafter were slow into stride. TRIPANDIE jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the performance from THE STONE THROWER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding on its return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. ELUSIVE PATH was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: THE STONE THROWER - returned lame on the right fore. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. All the riders that participated at today's race meeting were required to submit their Medical Record Books to the Clerk of Scales.
