The start of this Race was delayed due to DAME COMMANDER breaking through the front of the stalls, being restrained by the rider, taken behind the stalls, examined by the Course Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. DANCING IN SEATTLE was nervous in the stalls. DAME COMMANDER was stubborn loading, broke through the front gate and was re-loaded. ROYAL AGREE was withdrawn by the Course Veterinary Surgeon at the start. In view of the Starter's report with regard to DAME COMMANDER, this mare's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading into the stalls. DAME COMMANDER may not be presented for re-passing during this period. An investigation has been opened into why WESTERN ANGEL was presented equipped differently to the race card. WESTERN ANGEL was difficult to settle in the early and middle stages. DAME COMMANDER was hanging in from the 300m. In the concluding stages, SMART SUZY was momentarily inconvenienced and had to switch out off the heels of DANCING IN SEATTLE. OUTLANDOS D'AMOUR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: DAME COMMANDER - cast right hind shoe. Scratched: RACINE - no transport. ROYAL AGREE - not striding out right fore, and was withdrawn.
